Question 1

What’s the biggest challenge facing the cannabis industry right now, and how are you and/or your company addressing it?

Testing, we are self-testing and developing an SOP that will be triple blind testing by different labs to ensure consumer safety. We have to do our part…we can’t rely on the DCC, or sadly all brands and labs to produce accurate results.

Question 2

Where do you see the most exciting opportunity for growth and innovation in cannabis?

Hemp/THCA is interesting, but I am not sure I am ready to jump in and that is the bouncing ball. That said, it may be the path forward in a few states. I think CA ultimately bans it completely

Question 3

What’s one piece of advice you would give to someone looking to break into the cannabis industry?

LOL…..be relentless and prepared to dedicate your life and your soul to it. Buy a metal jock strap, so you can handle the repeated kicks to the balls. It’s just part of it.

Question 4

What is the most important thing you have learned from your experiences in the cannabis industry?

Hard to pick one thing, but I have definitely learned who my friends and allies are and who is not. The further along I get, I keep my actually inner circle super small. Sadly, I used to be more trusting, or maybe dumb would be a better would.

Question 5

What do you want your legacy to be as it relates to the cannabis industry?

I hope we can leave a better industry then we work in today. And I hope the phrase and its spirit Weed for the People lives long past my death
