Regardless of whether a state has implemented medical cannabis regulations, recreational cannabis regulations, or no cannabis regulations, one thing they all have in common is that they all ultimately answer to Uncle Sam.

Big Bro can be a real bully on brands that make official claims about specific medicinal benefits from cannabis products which is why we see way more marijuana marketing using words like ‘calming’ instead of ‘cancer-killing’.

However, cannabis culture and, thus, cannabis legalization are woven thread-by-thread with anecdotal stories of survival, each one a guide to optimizing one’s own wellness in an all natural way using age-old extracts like broad spectrum, high cannabinoid cannabis oil. Or, as it is commonly referred to, RSO.

RSO Success Stories Are Still Being Written

RSO, or Rick Simpson Oil (named after the man that pioneered the method), is a relatively simple form of cannabis extraction which, as with all such concentrates, relies heavily on high quality starting/plant material if one hopes to yield high quality cannabis oil at the end.

Unlike other cannabis concentrates like bubble hash, rosin, or BHO, most folks don’t dab or vape RSO. The dark, gooey, oil has plenty of other uses, though, making it one of the most potent and versatile forms of medicating with marijuana.

The two most common forms of consumption when it comes to RSO are oral (eating/swallowing it) or topical (applying it directly to skin or wounds).

Almost everyone goes through the same arc with their thought process when first introduced to RSO and are told about its seemingly miraculous potential.

First you doubt it.
Then you try it.
Then you become the loudest advocate for it to everyone you care about.

This is exactly what led Beard Bros Pharms founders Bill and Jeff Levers to begin crafting top quality batches of RSO years before Prop64 was passed in California. While brands were raking in cash making BHO and hash, the Bros were receiving letters and messages from deeply thankful patients who claimed to have beaten back gravely serious ailments and diseases using Beard Bros RSO.

Now, as cannabis regulation eases the unfair stigma that has always surrounded the plant, we see news stories like that of Sheriann Baker of Toronto, Canada, who wholeheartedly sings the praises of RSO in her successful battle against brain cancer.

There are well-known 90-day dosage charts for RSO consumption that ramp each dose up from a drop the size of “a grain of rice” in the first few days, to a full gram per day by day 30, which is maintained through day 90. If you have ever eaten anywhere near a gram of RSO without acclimating your receptors first, you know that a gram a day is no joke. In fact, such a regimen is reserved for the most serious medical conditions and the reason why such schedules are so popular in these dire cases is because of the anecdotal success stories that are out there – each one a real person, a real life improved or saved.

Of course, there isn’t a doctor in North America who will see such a seeming miracle and write down “RSO succeeds again, maybe we should look into it”, and so these stories remain ‘unofficial’, or unscientific, or at the very least, unallowed by the feds.

When it comes to “peer-review”, though, RSO has already been approved by our real peers which is everyone who knows someone who has benefitted therapeutically from the cannabis plant, and that number is constantly growing.
