The genetic combination is significant.

That is clearly not Sour Diesel x Cherry Pie.

The shared Cherry Pie connection may explain some of the confusion, but the second parent changes the genetic direction considerably.

Jet Fuel Gelato brings the influence of modern Gelato and fuel-oriented breeding rather than the direct Sour Diesel parentage of the TKO Reserve cultivar.

Both are legitimate breeding projects.

They simply should not be treated as the same plant.

They may share a name.

They may share Cherry Pie ancestry.

They are not the same strain.

There Is Even a Third Historical Laughing Gas

Treeology Genetics also created a cultivar called Laughing Gas.

Its lineage is documented as:

Cherry Pie brings California medical-era genetics with Granddaddy Purple and Durban Poison behind it.

That is already enough to earn the cultivar a place in the conversation.

But the second reason may be even more important.

Laughing Gas demonstrates why breeder attribution has to become part of cannabis literacy.

Saying “Laughing Gas strain” is not enough.
