Question 1

What’s the biggest challenge facing the cannabis industry right now, and how are you and/or your company addressing it?

One of the biggest challenges in the German cannabis market is the legal and structural uncertainty surrounding the setup and operation of Cannabis Clubs. Many founders and service providers lack clear guidance on how to implement compliant and sustainable models under the new regulatory framework.

At Cannabis Law Academy, we address this by offering a digital platform that combines legal tools, practical training, and standardized documentation. Through our growing partner network, we connect clubs with trusted providers in areas like compliance, cultivation, testing, security, and more – enabling a legally sound and future-ready ecosystem for the cannabis sector.

Question 2

Where do you see the most exciting opportunity for growth and innovation in cannabis?

One of the most exciting opportunities lies in the professionalization of the cannabis industry through clear regulation, quality standards, and specialized B2B solutions. Germany plays a key role as the gateway to the European recreational market. Its structured approach – especially around Cannabis Clubs – offers a scalable blueprint for the rest of Europe. This sets the stage for innovation across compliance, infrastructure, and digitalization, while paving the way for a unified, transparent, and future-oriented cannabis ecosystem.

Question 3

What’s one piece of advice you would give to someone looking to break into the cannabis industry?

Don’t underestimate the complexity of the cannabis industry. It’s not a typical startup environment – it’s highly regulated, politically sensitive, and shaped by constant legal change. My advice: develop a deep understanding of the legal framework, stay patient, and be persistent. Real progress takes time, but those who combine credibility, long-term vision, and strong partnerships will be the ones shaping the future of this industry.

Question 4

What is the most important thing you have learned from your experiences in the cannabis industry?

The most important thing I’ve learned is that nothing in this industry moves fast – and that’s a good thing. Legal change, public acceptance, and professional structures take time. What matters is staying focused, navigating uncertainty with clarity, and choosing your partners wisely. It’s not just about what you build – it’s about how you build it, and with whom.

Question 5

What do you want your legacy to be as it relates to the cannabis industry?

I want my legacy to be helping shape a transparent, legally secure, and socially responsible cannabis industry in Germany and beyond. One that empowers people – especially women – to build sustainable businesses, challenge outdated narratives, and create real impact. If I can contribute to setting new legal and ethical standards for how this industry grows, that’s a legacy I’d be proud of.
