“We have a wide range of demographics that come in our store, based on our location,” says Adam, a sales consultant/budtender at Atrium. “We’ll have people from 21 years old up to 70 or 80 years old, and for a lot of those folks, it could be their first time consuming cannabis. So we try to really educate people and help them through the process of what this is and how it can help them specifically.”

“We have that base understanding that, with cannabis, each one of us is an individual,” says Adam, adding, “We all get affected differently by cannabis … so we are able to focus on each specific person and what works for them, and what they are looking to get out of the product.”
This level of understanding translated directly to our in-store experience. The relaxed, yet professional, vibe at Atrium cannot be overstated. With the open, welcoming floorplan and 1-on-1 assistance from friendly sales associates, we were able to easily identify products and brands, compare prices, and make informed decisions with no pressure or judgment.
Our roving budtender was definitely helpful, especially with his access to a handheld tablet that allowed him to build our order in real-time as well as compare products and pricing on the fly. We were guided through various stations that kept products neatly categorized by flower, concentrates, topicals and tinctures, and edibles.

“We try to streamline the process when you come into the store so you don’t have to sit there and wait. You come in and we check you in. If you have an order to pick up, it will be waiting for you when you arrive otherwise you walk right into the dispensary and are able to immediately browse the products,” says Adam. “By getting people onto the dispensary floor and paired with a sales associate as quickly as possible, we are able to spend quality time with that customer, and if they have questions we are here to help.”
