Based in Arizona, Mulligan brings a wealth of experience in cannabis retail operations and consulting spanning several states with a full spectrum of success stories helping to rehabilitate dozens of dispensaries, cultivation operations, and manufacturing outlets.
Her upcoming episode, Retail Revelations, will feature guest Lissa Satori. Together, they’ll discuss how marketing and retail can best be on the same page since historically, they become adversarial and how this can further the dispensaries success. They’ll also discuss the evolution of the industry and retail within it from state to state.
Surely, many of us can relate in some way to Mulligan’s own personal journey of being put on a cocktail of pharmaceuticals and then discovering the power of the plant as a teenager when in 2003 a compassionate and courageous doctor advised her to consume cannabis medicinally to naturally manage pain from a severe back injury in gymnastics.
Mulligan’s own path to wellness has led her to the head of the class and around the world when it comes to cannabis advocacy and she has lent her voice and her passion to incredibly consequential projects in league with heavy hitters like the FDA, the UN, and the World Health Organization, to name a few.
Mulligan was in Vienna in December 2018 for the UN Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND) meeting where WHO representatives advised the Commission on recommendations for the re-scheduling of cannabis, and guidelines for CBD. She was also one of eleven co-authors of guidelines for the FDA for regulation of CBD products that fall under the 2018 Farm Bill here in the US that defined and legalized hemp.
A consummate professional who prefers to have her boots on the ground, Mulligan is currently continuing her consulting work, and sometimes receivership work to help parties with distressed licenses find optimal resolutions. Of course, her passion for cannabis advocacy remains strong as well.
Clearly she will deliver some unique and useful insight with her work on the Beard Bros Media Network.
Chelsea calls herself a “flower girl” who loves to snap a fresh bowl of buds in her sparkling clean bong. She also enjoys the ritual of busting up some sticky icky by hand, preparing the leaf, and rolling and sparking perfect blunts.
Lately she has been enjoying a strain from AZ-based Cannabist called Cherry Punch, taking advantage of its subduing effects to fuel her busy lifestyle!
