What’s the biggest challenge facing the cannabis industry right now, and how are you and/or your company addressing it?
We feel the biggest challenge is the legalization status, exacerbated by 280E. Money is tight. The debt tsunami is coming. So we make patented accessories for cannabis brands and fans that save money, are tax-deductible, solve universal consumption problems, and deliver 2x impressions for a 1/3 of the cost of traditional swag.
Where do you see the most exciting opportunity for growth and innovation in cannabis?
We are 100% focused on accessories. There is so much waste – smoke, product, money – and we have the solutions. More importantly, our solutions don’t break the bank, and they are equally beneficial for marketers as well as end-users.
What’s one piece of advice you would give to someone looking to break into the cannabis industry?
Oof. It’s pretty brutal. Just remember that it isn’t corporate America. For example, you might end up trying to win the business of someone in a marketing that doesn’t even know what an impression is. Yikes. Working with unqualified and unprepared people is quite a challenge. Also, expect to be ghosted… a lot.
What is the most important thing you have learned from your experiences in the cannabis industry?
Finding the decision-maker who has a clear understanding of their goals and who understands the elements they need to achieve them. Our products can be an invaluable part of their success, as long as they know what their KPIs are for ever element of their business.
What do you want your legacy to be as it relates to the cannabis industry?
We want to be known as the company that solved universal consumption and branding problems for brands and fans alike.
