“Preserve Legacy and Embrace Transition”: How The Network Show is Strengthening Cali’s Cannabis Supply Chain

On September 18-19, 2024 the rapidly growing B2B cannabis event known as The Network Show will host its third annual trade show in Los Angeles, once again connecting Cali’s top licensed cultivators and craftspeople with the state’s most discerning dispensary and distro reps for two days of high level wholesale weed dealing and relationship building.

The cannabis event space is packed with efforts to be all things to all people, to appeal to everyone from the “new user” to the seasoned sungrown farmer. Lost in the mix, more often than not, is the weed itself! Not so at The Network Show.

California is a massive place, geographically speaking and population wise, and the logistics of getting your freshly harvested legal weed into the hands of eager consumers involves a convoluted supply chain that not only makes that farmer-direct purchase all but impossible, but also makes the behind the scenes work of establishing meaningful wholesale relationships between brands and dispensaries much harder than it ought to be.

Every link we can cut out of that chain directly benefits cultivators, craftspeople, retailers, and consumers and The Network Show – now in its 3rd year – is doing exactly that.

With a strict focus on B2B (business-to-business) sales and participants, there are no influencers, or secret shoppers, or out of place celebs at The Network Show – just real retail buyers pulling up to do big business with the best brands in California for two days under one roof.

The Network Show is Connecting Cultivators and Craftspeople to California’s Retailers

Booth space for The Network Show’s September event sold out in just 13 days with over 160 different brands set to be represented in 2024. In fact, the waiting list to participate in future events is longer than the roster of brands that will attend this year’s show.

When we say brands, these are all consumable cannabis products ready for any shop’s top shelf. You will not find packaging brands, or hardware/software brands, or apparel, or live music, or speaker panels.

What you will find is a real opportunity to connect face-to-face with brands or outlets that you are looking to get familiar with, or to reconnect with on a personal level with brands or outlets where logistics don’t normally allow for such easy interaction.

This direct plug to Cali’s brands providing the best flower, pre-rolls, edibles, concentrates, carts and pods, topicals, tinctures, RSO, and more is predicted to attract up to 3,000 attendees representing as many as 750 – 1,000 of the state’s top retail cannabis dispensaries.

Attendees are vetted by event staff to ensure that The Network Show never compromises on its value as a true B2B opportunity, and those attendees are never charged an entry fee. The Network Show will feature a zone that highlights dozens of California’s Social Equity brands where over a dozen booths were provided at no cost.

With two successful shows produced under this format, and with over 25 years of event production experience, The Network Show is earning praise from the cannabis community it serves.

“I found the network show to be professionally organized, very fun and created the opportunity to develop invaluable relationships.” – Chris with Eaze

As a retail buyer, I found this event to be incredibly beneficial. I had the opportunity to make many great connections” – Derek from Kanna

Although the focus is on networking and deal making, you really can’t have a building full of amazing cannabis and amazing people and not have some amazing food trucks to keep everyone fueled up. It is not uncommon for post-event feedback from The Network Show to hype the delicious food as much as the event itself!

The Network Cannabis Trade Show 2024 will help shape tastes for Cali’s cannabis consumers in the weeks and months that follow the event – will you be there to see the future and stake your claim in it?

The blueprint they have put in place here in California will work in cannabis markets across the country, and that is the plan. Be sure to follow @network_show on social media and stay tapped into their website at https://networkshow.co/ so you can rep your brand or outlet at an upcoming event.
